The Moapa Valley Educational Foundation (MVEF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization designed to support educational programs in the community and to coordinate scholarships for Moapa Valley High School (MVHS) students. All MVEF scholarships are received by generous donors who want to make a difference and “open doors to opportunities” for young people to pursue their vocational and collegiate dreams. MVEF works closely with MVHS to create scholarships that meet the highest standards of achievement, involvement, donor requirements and student needs. There are numerous scholarships available for students willing to take the time and initiative to complete the applications and essays. Students must coordinate with the MVHS Career and College Specialist, Mrs. Teresa Kruse, every spring to obtain the scholarship applications.
